As an appliance inspector, you will be trained on the proper diagnosis of our partner brand products. You will follow our system of checks and balances to determine the what and why of issues and how they occur. Through this process, you will not only play a pivotal role in problem solving for our clientele, but you will also learn the foundations of appliance repair and customer service. With time and gathered experience, you will work toward becoming a Level 2 technician.

Job Description
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through the deliverance of high-quality service
Conduct in-home appliance diagnosis and/or repairs for our partner brands
Operate assigned service van to and from client locations with unwavering attention to safety and surroundings
Record all activities related to repairs, routes, and other activities via company service app
Attend all training, meetings, and other events as required
Manage maintenance and stock inventory of assigned service vehicle
Meet productivity and efficiency goals as established
Expectations
Prompt and regular attendance to all scheduled appointments, training sessions and/or company events as required
Maintain high level of skill and proficiency in appliance repair
Wear uniform & maintain standards of personal grooming & appearance consistent with company policy
Wear and/or utilize all appropriate company provided PPE safety equipment (Masks are required for all face-to-face interactions)
Follow safety procedures with constant awareness of personal safety and safety of others
Ensure service vehicle is kept clean and organized at all times
Required Qualifications:
*Prior relevant military service will be considered in relation to required/desired qualifications listed below.
• HS Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2 years of trade experience in electrical, mechanical, customer service, HVAC, or appliance repair
• Permit to work in USA as full-time employee
• Have and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Be willing to obtain CFC Certification within a reasonable time if not already certified
• Self-directed and solid team player
• Have verifiable, stable work history
• Successfully complete background check, physical, and drug screen before employment begins and as requested
• Good communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in instances of escalated client interactions
• Ability to use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and vibratory tools
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to:
Ability to step up, into, and out of a van and sit for extended periods of time;
Ability to handle/work with parts/equipment which may be hot, cold, and/or wet
Ability to use often powered hand tools and occasional use of vibratory tools/equipment
Ability to handle and lift parts or materials min. of 77 lbs. lifting/carrying and 70 lb. pushing/pulling maybe required
Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach at shoulder level, reach at waist level, bend, push/pull, grasp, pinch, and fine motor/manipulations skills
Occasional reaching overhead, reaching at knee and floor levels, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders, pivoting, twisting, neck flexion/extension/rotation, shoulder circumduction, and lying supine

Desired Qualifications
• 6 plus months of experience with Refrigeration repair
• CFC Certified, if not certified, we will train and certify
• Certification in appliance repair or associate degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00+ per hour depending on skill level. Salary commensurates with experience.
